The first episode of Saturday Night Live is actually a lot better than I expected. Makes me seriously miss George Carlin, who I luckily got the chance to see live a couple years ago. And Billy Preston and Janis Ian? So good.

There was a whole Party of Five episdoe about this back in the day. I think they called it ”upspeak” though. Ever since I saw it, I notice it ALL the time.
