Business 101
I think I figured out the problem in Blender magazine’s business model that’s forcing them to shut down.
This week I received two free copies of the magazine in the mail. I’m not a subscriber, I’ve never read a single issue. I don’t even know how they got my address.
Maybe if they stopped sending so many free copies out they’d save a little moolah.
That’s actually how magazines make money! They make no money on actual paying subscribers- they make money on their subscription numbers. The more “subscribers” they have, the more $$ advertisers will pay them. So you’re actually doing double duty to help Blender haha!
