I’m probably the semicolon’s biggest advocate. LOVE them. A professor once told me that semicolons are “a device that graduate students use to show they’re better than others.”

But apparently it’s just because I’m female.

Tonight made me love Boston just a little bit more. The people here can seem so unfriendly sometimes, but everyone at the Bella Luna Boston Blogger gathering was sooo friendly. Plus the food was pretty amazing. Loved it!!

I’m flying to Denver tomorrow night for work and it’s a bit of a milestone because I’ve never seen the Rocky Mountains before.

Now I know Denver isn’t IN the mountains. And I know that the Rockies themselves are hardly the focus of this whirlwind trip. But still. Finally. The Rockies. It’s always been a small source of embarrassment (as someone who ~~loves~~ lives to travel) that I’ve not seen so much of my own country. while I was off trapsing around other people’s countries, I’ve just been looking for the right excuse.

Tomorrow I’m breaking the seal on the interesting bits between St. Louis and Seattle. And I’ll be listening to John Denver the whole way there.

Jealous! I was in CO for my cousin’s wedding a couple years ago. Flew into Denver for a hot min. and then went onward to Vail (Beaver Creek). It was early-July and was in the 50s and 60s and raining the whole time. But was still beautiful!! I’m sure I will be paying the Denver cousins a visit real soon; I want to experience more of it. Have fun!!
